Butterfly Letters

We all have stories. Every one of us. Sad stories. Happy stories. Stories of resilience and tenacity.

Often, individuals with eating disorders don't get to tell our stories. We hide them and are ashamed. We don't want people to see. They might make us stop. They might make fun of us. And they definitely won't understand.

There are too many untold stories out there.

Well, there's one guy who wants to tell those stories. I've been watching his Just A Skinny Boy channel on youtube for a bit now, and I saw that he posted THIS VIDEO to advertise a compilation of stories that he had received. Stories people poured out to him and wanted to put out there.

"Cuz I breathe just to shout out. And I live just to scream loud. And your love is here now and I'm not running cuz it's pushed me to the edge. I'm not gonna break. There's no mistake I've got to stand and scream; let my voice be heard."

You can buy a copy at butterflyletters.org, and I can promise you that you will never look at Eating Disorders in the same way.

Because behind each story there is a person. A heart. A host of triumphs and tears.
