The Tides of Yesterday

It was a beautiful snow day yesterday, and ED was not allowed. I got up and had breakfast and then was getting ready to go to the gym when my boyfriend texted me asking me to have breakfast! I himmed and hawwed for a while, until he finally said "Please? Just this once?"

I was sold, and went and had a cup of coffee with him. Then ping pong. Then, instead of my workout, an afternoon of playing in the snow and reading and cuddling with the best man on the face of the planet.

This morning, school was delayed to late start, so I had a little more time to get up and get moving. My boyfriend asked me to proofread his "My Life" essay (I might post mine later, we'll see) for Positive Psychology, and since I was up since 3am, I knocked that out.

I was super blessed and felt privileged to read this beautiful essay. I could tell it came from the heart, and it almost felt as if he was in the room talking to me. I learned a lot about him, information I knew he was trusting me with. I now start my morning feeling peaceful.
