A Mind Unruly

Today I'm going to direct you guys to a second blog I've started where I'm going to be progressively posting chapters for a novel. I've taken a couple stabs at novel writing before, but have never been able to finish. So my boyfriend came up with the idea that maybe if I have readers I will be motivated to actually finish.

Sooooo, as far as my progress on 31 Ways to be Mindful in March, yesterday I was supposed to be mindful of my body and do body scans. This was difficult because I've been having a really hard time with body image over the past few days and accepting my weight, as it is the highest it's ever been. But I was able to let my boyfriend hug me, and that was a victory.

Today I am going to focus on eating mindfully, enjoying the food, and focusing on the taste, texture, and smell. Wish me luck!!!
