Everything You Were Saying Was Only True To You

Today is my one year recovery anniversary! A year ago I entered treatment to try and rectify over 8 years of living life in a glorious way that somehow left me feeling empty. The foottrails are hard to follow, and, feeling hollow, I headed back.

The spirit is empty down on Carson Beach

Now that I'm looking to the endless sea,
The line that separates me,
I did not cast into the deep.

    like the poem, did you write it? Yay for one year! Side-note: so glad you are NOT going to the rehab or whatever place, you are definitely beyond that...and definitely do not need to be around others that are still early on in their recovery. Wishing you all the best ladybug!

    I didn't write this one, but I wrote the one above it on the next post. This one is actually a song by a duo that I absolutely love called Lily and Madeleine (you can look them up on youtube. And that's exactly what my therapist said. She didn't want me to be triggered by other people and dragged backwards.
