This is the drug they want to put me on. It treats prostate cancer and gave my grandpa an extra 12 years to live. I don't know what to think of this article. On one hand, I am very hesitant to try Lupron for a number of reasons. On the other hand, I know it is definately an effective drug for men and has helped some women (even though it has hurt many others). Everyone is different, you know?
That said, I don't appreciate my doctor telling me this is my ONLY option and that if I forgo this, there is nothing he can do for me.
